I am a self-trained woodworker with a background in Industrial Design. My furniture draws inspiration from traditional Japanese furniture design & construction with an emphasis on simplicity and function.

I design and build custom furniture crafted from choice, hand-selected hardwoods. Each piece is built with uncompromising attention to detail. Interlocking joinery is used to ensure structural integrity and the furniture is finished with multiple coats of a hand-rubbed mixture of tung oil and polyurethane.

In addition to my own designs, I frequently work with customers to convert their ideas into reality. I select wood that has a distinct personality so that each piece of furniture will be a unique, one-of-a-kind creation that will become part of your family and used and treasured for generations. I am committed to working with woods that are harvested from certified sustainable sources.
